After experiencing an eye stroke in August, Dr. Shienbaum has been giving me monthly injections. He observed my retina. This time the report was no swelling. He is now using a new medication that lasts longer than a month. This will allow me more time between injections. I may wait 6 weeks as opposed to only 4 weeks. A little too much time waiting in the waiting room. Most doctor’s offices seem to be the same. Scheduling patients every 15 minutes is a bit too close. Doesn’t give doctors enough time with each patient. Should be at half and hour intervals. Just saying.

Not a typical visit. Apparently there were two emergencies so for my 10 AM appointment I was not even called until 11 AM. I understand things happen but no one from the practice cared enough to come out and let people know what was going on. My time is as valuable to me as the doctor's time is to him. This visit for some reason was a hard on. The instrument that keeps the eye open during the injection was not placed completely on the eye lid and hurt my eye . The recovery time was 2 days this time when it is usually 1 day. But n over all I trust this Dr and know he is doing his best to make this procedure as easy as possible for me .

I waited a little long to see the doctor but when Dr. Shienbaum eventually examined me, he was thorough, professional, compassionate, and explained my situation very well. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the patient flow was efficient. I needed a laser procedure at the office, and all went great!

Dr. Gary Shienbaum, M.D. provided excellent service for my eyes; in fact, he assisted to resolve my concerns, his "bedside manner" is excellent, and he totally calmed my fears. As we all know, our eyes and injuries to them are of paramount concern and I came to his office shaking like a leaf. His ease of tone, knowledge of the eye and his treatment plan certainly helped to minimize my worry about floaters in my eye. 5 of 5 rating for this doctor.

Unlike all other previous visits today’s visit felt rushed towards the end when the doctor checked my eyes. All prior steps were great as usual. Very likely it was enough time the doctor spent checking my eyes (I am not in the medical field) but compared with previous visits it took less time today.

The office of Dr Schienbaum provides excellent services to patients with eye problems. Appointments are easy to arrange, staff members are friendly and professional. Waiting times within reason, services are given with the amount of time needed. Dr Schienbaum is an expert in eye diseases. I definitely recommend him.

Day of my Appointment, Registration Receptionist, Destiny, and Catherine/Kathryn? all explained services to me before or during as needed. This was my first visit to Dr. Gary Shienbaum’s office. I already have my appointment for 2024. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I came there to KNOW THE HEALTH OF MY EYES, right eye in particular. I left, confident in the Eye Care I received, understanding that ALL the specific TESTS informed doctor and staff, of the healthy state of my eyes.
